We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, marketing partners, as well as from other third parties, which helps us increase the relevance of our marketing. 4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
In Short: We use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.
We use cookies, web pixels, web beacons, and similar technology on the Sites to help us analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand online activity, among other things. Some of these cookies, pixels, and tracking technologies are provided by our service providers and third parties. Unless described in this Policy, we do not disclose, sell, rent, or trade any of your information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
Cookies: To improve our Sites, we use “cookies” to maintain a record of your visit. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser or device and helps us personalize your experience, monitor usage, and improve our services. We use third-party service providers for some of our cookies.

5. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: Depending on where you are based, you will have various Personal Information rights. We set these out below as follows:
Section 1 – Residents of California:
As a resident of California, you have certain rights associated with your Personal Information. These rights are described below. You may exercise any of these rights by submitting a verifiable consumer request to us. Your Rights to Know and to Access Personal Information
You have the right to request that we provide you with the following information:
- the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you;
- the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected;
- the categories of third parties to whom we disclose your Personal Information;
- the categories of Personal Information about you that we have shared for cross-context behavioral advertising or sold, if applicable, and the third parties with whom the Personal Information was shared for this purpose or sold;
- the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling your Personal Information or disclosing your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, if applicable;
- the categories of Personal Information about you that we have disclosed for a business purpose and the categories of persons to whom the information was disclosed for this purpose; and
- the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
You may request any of this information by submitting a verifiable consumer request to us up to two (2) times in each twelve-month period. When you submit a request, you can request that we respond by mail or electronically. If you elect to receive the information electronically, to the extent it is technically feasible for us to do so, we will provide the requested information in a portable and readily usable format that allows you to transmit this information to another entity.
Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct any inaccuracies in the Personal Information we maintain about you. To do so, you may submit a verifiable consumer request to us, and subject to our verification of that request, we will provide you with the opportunity to correct the inaccuracies, taking into account the purposes of processing the Personal Information.
Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete any Personal Information about you which we have collected from you. To do so, you can send us a verifiable consumer request requesting that we delete some or all of your Personal Information. Once we receive and confirm your request, we will delete such Personal Information from our active records. We will also notify any service providers and third parties with whom we have disclosed your Personal Information of your request.
Deletion requests are subject to certain limitations. We are not required to delete information where we are permitted or required to retain it, such as for tax or record-keeping purposes, to process orders and transactions, and for solely internal uses consistent with your relationship with us. If we deny your request to delete based on any of these exceptions, we will inform you in writing of the reason.

Your Rights to Request, to Know, to Access, to Correct, to Delete, and to Copy Personal Information
If you are a resident of Texas, you have the following rights with respect to your Personal Information:
- to confirm whether we are processing your Personal Information and to access this information;
- to correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information;
- to delete your Personal Information;
- to obtain a copy of your Personal Information that you previously provided to us if this information is in a digital format; and
- to opt out of, as applicable, the processing of your Personal Information for purposes of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling in furtherance of a decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect concerning you.
To exercise any of these rights, you may submit a consumer request to us. To learn how to submit a request, please visit the “How You Can Submit a Verifiable Consumer Request” subsection below. If you requested a copy of your Personal Information, we will provide the information in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows you to transmit the information to another entity.
HOW YOU CAN SUBMIT A VERIFIABLE CONSUMER REQUEST
For us to process a request from you related to your Personal Information, it is necessary for us to verify your identity. We will ask you to provide certain additional information about yourself, such as name, physical address, email address, and phone number, or other identifying information, to compare to information we have on file for you to verify your identity. We cannot fulfill your request if we cannot verify your identity.
It may take up to forty-five (45) days to fulfill your request. If we cannot complete your request within the initial forty-five (45) day period, we will notify you in writing within forty-five (45) days of your initial request. If we ultimately determine that we cannot fulfill your request, we will also notify you in writing, including the reason behind our determination, and how, if applicable, you can appeal.

We do not discriminate against consumers for exercising any of their rights with respect to their Personal Information. If you are a consumer exercising any of your rights under this policy, we will not deny you goods or services; charge you different prices or rates for goods or services; or provide different levels or quality of goods or services to you.

We disclose Personal Information collected through our Squirrel Brand Site (https://www.squirrelbrand.com/) and/or our Just the Cheese Site (https://www.justthecheese.com/) to third parties to help analyze your interaction with our website and to show you more useful and relevant ads. This may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information under California law. The categories of Personal Information that we have shared for cross-context behavioral advertising in the past twelve (12) months include identifiers such as IP address, device identifier, and cookies and pixel tags; commercial information such as your interaction with the Squirrel Brand Site and/or Just the Cheese Site; location information, and inferences drawn from such information.
Your Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your preference not to have data about your online browsing activities collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. We will inform you about any changes to our practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
9. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law.
We will only keep your information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
10. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We aim to protect your information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We take the security of your Personal Information seriously. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any Personal Information we process while in our possession. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Information, transmission of Personal Information to and from our Sites is at your own risk.
11. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
In Short: Our Sites are not directed to children.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected information from someone under the age of thirteen (13) without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information.

In Short: Our Sites may contain links to other websites, including the websites of third parties who are acting on our behalf as our agents, suppliers, or providers.
We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices employed by third-party websites. Once you leave our Sites, we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website linked from one of our Sites before using it.
13. RESIDENTS OF THE EU
In Short: We do not intentionally collect information from residents of the European Union (“EU”).
We do not intentionally collect information from residents of the EU. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected information about an EU resident, we will promptly delete that information.

In Short: Yes, we will update this Privacy Policy from time to time and as applicable laws change.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to how we treat Personal Information that we have already collected, and you have provided us with your email address, we will notify you by emailing you at the email address you provided. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date email address for you and for periodically visiting our Sites and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
