1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
In Short: We collect several types of information from and about users of our Sites, including information that personally identifies you.

The Personal Information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and our Sites, the choices you make and the products and features you use.
Information We Collect Automatically
In Short: We may automatically collect some information such as your IP address, browser, and device characteristics when you visit our Sites.

We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, marketing partners, as well as from other third parties, which helps us increase the relevance of our marketing. Examples of the information we receive from other sources include social media profile information; marketing leads and search results and links, including paid listings (such as sponsored links).
2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We use the information we collect about you for a variety of purposes, including to fulfill your requests, administer our business, and comply with applicable laws.
We may use personal information collected via our Sites for a variety of business purposes as described below, including to:

In Short: We share your information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide products or services, or to fulfill business obligations.

- with third party advertisers for targeted advertising on our Squirrel Brands website;
- with contractors who are providing services for us or on our behalf;

We may allow selected third parties to use tracking technology (cookies, web pixels, web beacons, and similar technology) on the Sites, which will enable them to collect data about how you interact with the Sites over time. This information may be used to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand online activity. Unless described in this Policy, we do not share, sell, rent or trade any of your information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
Cookies: To improve our Sites, we utilize “cookies” to maintain a record of your visit. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser or device and helps us personalize your experience, monitor usage, and improve our services. We use third-party service providers for some of our cookies. You can adjust your browser or device settings to accept or decline most cookies. Pixels: A vendor, such as Meta or Google, may provide web pixels or other tools that we place on our Sites to recognize when you visit our Sites and to show you online ads for our products when you visit other websites. This information does not identify you by name.

5. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: Depending on where you are based, you will have various Personal Information rights. We set these out below as follows:
Section 1 – Residents of California:
Your Rights to Request, to Know, to Correct, and to Access Personal Information
If you want to know the Personal Information we have collected, processed, or otherwise obtained about you in the last twelve months, you may submit a verifiable consumer request to us, and subject to our verification of that request, we will provide you with the following information:
- the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you;
- the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected;
- the business or commercial purpose for collecting, disclosing or selling, if applicable, your Personal Information; and
- the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
In addition to these disclosures, you may submit a verifiable consumer request up to two (2) times in a twelve-month period for access to your Personal Information. When you submit an access request, you can request that we respond by mail or electronically. If you elect to receive the information electronically, to the extent it is technically feasible for us to do so, we will provide the requested information in a portable and readily usable format that allows you to transmit this information to another entity.

Right to Correct
If you want to correct inaccuracies in the Personal Information we have collected, processed, or otherwise obtained about you in the last twelve months, you may submit a verifiable consumer request to us, and subject to our verification of that request, we will provide you with the opportunity to correct the inaccuracies, taking into account the purposes of processing the Personal Information.
Right to Delete
If you want us to delete the Personal Information we have collected from you, you can send us a verifiable consumer request requesting that we delete some or all of your Personal Information. Once we receive and confirm your Personal Information request, we will delete such personal information from our active records. We will also notify any service providers and third parties with whom we have shared your Personal Information of your request.
Deletion requests are subject to certain limitations. We are not required to delete information where we are permitted or required to retain it, such as for tax or record keeping purposes, to process orders and transactions, and for solely internal uses consistent with your relationship with us. If we deny your request to delete based on any of these exceptions, we will inform you in writing of the reason.
HOW YOU CAN SUBMIT A VERIFIABLE CONSUMER REQUEST FOR A REQUEST TO KNOW, ACCESS, CORRECT, OR DELETE
For us to process a request to know, access, correct, or delete, it is necessary for us to verify your identity. We will ask you to provide certain additional information about yourself, such as name, physical address, email address and phone number, or other identifying information, to compare to information we have on file for you to verify your identity. We cannot fulfil your request if we cannot verify your identity.
It may take up to forty-five (45) days to fulfil your request. If we cannot complete your request within the initial forty-five (45) day period, we will notify you in writing within forty-five (45) days of your initial request.

Your Right to Opt-Out of the Sale of Personal Information to Third Parties for Users of Our Squirrel Brand Site
We currently disclose Personal Information collected through our Squirrel Brand Site (https://squirelbrand.com) to third parties. Under California law, this may be considered a “sale.” If you are a resident of California, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information by clicking on the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link on the Squirrel Brands web site or by clicking on the link below. By clicking on the link below, you will opt out of the “sale” of your personal information to third parties on our Squirrel Brands site if you are browsing from California.

Your Right to Non-Discrimination
We do not discriminate against consumers for exercising any of their rights with respect to their personal information. If you are a consumer exercising any of your rights under this policy, we will not deny you goods or services; charge you different prices or rates for goods or services; or provide different levels or quality of goods or services to you.

We take the security of your Personal Information seriously. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Information, transmission of Personal Information to and from our Sites is at your own risk.

In Short: Our Sites are not directed to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected information from someone under the age of 13 without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information.

We do not intentionally collect information from residents of the EU. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected information about an EU resident, we will promptly delete that information.
